Friday, January 01, 2010. Dropkick Murphys perform at NHL Winter Classic today. Celt-punks and proud Bostonians Dropkick Murphys are also huge hockey fans. That's why it's great to hear that they will be playing the NHL's third annual Winter Classic outdoor game today. This year's game between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers takes place at Fenway Park in Boston. The band will be playing prior to the game and during the intermissions.
